Effective 22 July 2026
By using htpi.me or class.htpi.me ("the service"), operated by Horris Tse in Hong Kong ("HtPi", "I"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service includes published writing, paid membership tiers (溪 Stream, 川 River, 海 Ocean), the members' lab, classes and workshops, and related materials such as recordings and slides.
Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account. Email verification is required for password-based accounts.
Paid memberships are billed by card through Stripe, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are given except where the law requires. Prices may change with advance notice — changes apply from your next renewal.
Class fees are one-off and paid by PayMe, FPS or PayPal as listed on each class page. Member discounts apply while your membership is active. If you cannot attend, contact me before the class date — transfers or refunds are handled case by case and at my reasonable discretion. Access to class materials for participants follows the access policy stated on the classes page.
All site content — writing, recordings, slides, notes and design — belongs to HtPi or its licensors. It is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Members-only content and participant materials must not be shared, reposted, resold or redistributed.
You own what you post in the lab and elsewhere. By posting, you grant HtPi a non-exclusive licence to host and display it as part of the service. Only post what you have the right to share.
Keep the lab respectful: no unlawful, infringing, deceptive or spam content, and no harassment. I may moderate content (including pinning, locking or removing threads and replies) and may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
You may stop using the service or close your account at any time. Because lab threads are conversations that other members contributed to, your contributions may be retained after closure in anonymised form — attributed to a neutral identifier such as "Former member #4F2A" (consistent for one author, different between authors), with your name and account link removed — so that those discussions stay intact and readable. See the Privacy Policy for details and how to request removal of specific posts.
Testimonials you submit are reviewed before anything is published. Publication uses the name, title and company you provided, in the language you wrote; a shortened excerpt may be shown with the full text available. You choose whether your full name or only your initials appears, and title and company may be left blank. You may withdraw a published testimonial at any time by contacting me. Titles and organisations are shown for identification only.
Anyone who attended a class may write one — attendance is the only requirement, and no membership or payment beyond your seat is needed. Writing one is always optional: it is never a condition of your class materials, which open once you answer the short post-class survey and stay open afterwards. The survey itself is private and is never published.
Everything on this site and in its classes — including content about finance, markets, trading, data, automation, or health — is educational and informational only. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, medical or other professional advice, and no client or advisory relationship is created. Interactive tools and models here are deliberately simplified illustrations, not forecasts of real-world outcomes. Markets and automated systems carry real risk of loss; past performance does not indicate future results. Any decision you make, and anything you build or automate, is at your own risk.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, HtPi is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to HtPi in the twelve months before the claim arose.
I may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. These terms may be updated from time to time; material changes will be notified, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts. Where the English and Chinese versions of these terms differ, the English version prevails.
